First Visit Expectations
We understand that visiting the dentist can be a bit nerve-wracking, so we wanted to fill you in on what you can expect during your first visit to Austin Dental Specialty Group. We hope this overview will help put you at ease and make your experience with us a pleasant one, we can’t wait to see you soon!
Let’s get to know each other
We are thrilled to welcome you to our dental family! Your first appointment is an opportunity for our team to learn about you and for you to get to know us better. Please feel free to ask any questions about the process, share your concerns or anything else that comes to mind. The goal is to create a personalized care plan that meets your individual needs and ensures your comfort throughout the treatment process.
During your visit, you will meet Dr. Sarah Behmanesh who will provide an accurate oral health assessment and determine the best course of action for your treatment. Also, we will examine your medical history to ensure that your safety comes first. We kindly request that you bring a list of your medications and supplements. Lastly, we will conduct a comprehensive oral exam- including a non-invasive oral cancer screening- and take a full mouth series of x-rays to ensure we capture every detail of your oral health. We look forward to seeing you soon!
You are in great hands
It’s totally understandable if you haven’t been to a dentist in a while, no need to worry or feel guilty.
We’re just glad you’re here now! After your exam, Dr. Behmanesh will go over her findings with you and together, we’ll create a treatment plan that fits your dental and personal needs. We know everyone has different schedules and budgets, so we can prioritize and stagger your treatments to make it work for you.
Most importantly, we want you to feel comfortable and safe. Your physical comfort is always top of mind, but we care about your emotional well-being too. So, come on in, relax and unwind – you’re in great hands!
